Springfield Lutheran School is guided by the Redeemer School Committee, who is under the authority of the Redeemer Lutheran Church Board of Directors. This seven-member governing board addresses responsibilities including policies, management, and supervision 
related to Springfield Lutheran School. The Redeemer School Committee meets the last Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the Springfield Lutheran School library. Meetings are open to the public, with the exception of any business being conducted in executive session.
The principal of Springfield Lutheran School is Ms. Amanda Cole. Ms. Cole has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration, and is a Minister of Religion - Commissioned through the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Ms. Cole taught for 13 years in the public school system before joining the faculty at Springfield Lutheran School in 2016.
